Cormac and Fiona O'Duffy have been involved in ministry since 1986 when they first ran Catholic Youth Camps and the Faith Alive Youth Ministry. Later together they developed a music ministry which led to work in the UK, Ireland, Israel and the United States with Choral works designed to promote Christian Unity and Christian-Jewish relations. More recently, and now domiciled in the US, they have been working to promote the legacy of Fr Max Josef Metzger (1877-1944) a Catholic priest who was martyred for his faith in Brandenburg Görden Prison in Germany. Cormac's Oratorio 'Metzger' was performed in the prison in April 2024 for the 80th anniversary of Metzger's death. Feeling a call to help continue the legacy of Max Josef, and with the blessing of his Christkoenig Institute in Meitingen, they are calling this new ministry 'Una Sancta' in Metzger's honor. A major part of this new ministry is to support the work of reconciliation between Lutherans and Catholics based on the Augsburg Confession, a work which is now being undertaken by the Dicastery for the Promotion of Christian Unity and both the Lutheran World Federation and the International Lutheran Council. They call this project AUGSBURG. 2030.
